Getting organized
My never ending quest to get my quilting room organized continues. This week’s finds:
- A bookcase from Goodwill. It’s wooden, has three shelves and folds flat. $5!!!
- Clear, plastic stackables from Costco. Each stackable has a different project in it. I used 10 of the 14 that come in the set and figured I have too many projects going on if I need more than that!
- Stackable lockables from Joann’s. I might not have the name exactly right. These were 50% off. I bought about 8 and should have bought 20 easily. They screw shut and then screw into one another so that you can stack them. They have been great for all of the little pieces I’ve needed to make my fabric flower pins and brooches.
- A mesh pop up hamper from Walmart. (I know, I know. I shouldn’t shop there.) I’m using it for my scraps. I like it because it’s not too big, and I can see what’s in it without digging through it.

Looking good, Kira. I found some stacking bins that roll in the kiddie section at IKEA. They move allover my sewing room.
