I spent the better part of a morning trying to tackle my felt and fleece stash. I will come clean. The fleece stash is a direct result of me getting caught up in Black Friday one year. New to buying fabric in large quantities, I was convinced that the deals would never be better. I was the third person in the store that morning, and I definitely knocked over some bolts while trying to get to one of the pieces I had scouted earlier in the week. (Unfortunately, my Mother witnessed this, and I’ve never heard the end of it.)
I have been piling (neatly, of course) my fleece and felt in a spare bedroom which is really supposed to be my yoga/meditation/reading/quiet/empty space room, and since the fabric was taking over, I was feeling antsy about doing something with it. It was stacked at least 3 feet high on a dresser. Enter Costco and space saver bags. I’m sure that long-term, it’s not good for me to have my fabric in a vacuum-sealed bag, but for right now, it’s perfect. I forgot to take a picture of the original stack of fleece but here’s one of the felt and check out the before and after pics of the fleece once I got it into the bag. Now I just need to figure out where to store the bags!
